Viddura compares roguelikes, metroidvanias and souls-likes using figures that can be checked against their source: price, review count, review percentage, interface languages and platform support from Steam, plus guide-video coverage from YouTube.

Guide-video coverage gets its own column because no store page publishes it, and in a genre built on repeated failure it changes what buying a game commits you to. A well-reviewed title nobody is teaching is a different proposition from a well-reviewed title with a hundred thousand guides.

Every page names its sources and the date they were read. Where something is not published — length, boss counts, completion times — we leave it out rather than repeat an unsourced figure. Prices change and review counts only move upward, so each page carries the date its figures were checked.
